Redmi Note 7 pro in depth review and opinions

Very rarely a budget smartphone is as hyped as Redmi Note 7 Pro, but does it live up to the hype so well it's time to find out with this blog.
So this is the new Redmi Note phone which comes with a major upgrade that makes it very exciting.

    A fresh new design

In Redmi Note 7 pro, Xiaomi has finally ditched their usual boring design of the of back panel. Now you get the premium glossy glass panel at black and front which looks stunning. The back here features Gorilla Glass 5 like the front that means it is not prone to scratches and scuffs like on realme 2 and ASUS zenfone Max M2 which have plastic back but it looks like glass.

    Vibrant display

Redmi Note series phone always have been coming with good displays and Redmi Note 7 Pro is no exception .The LCD display is just as good as it gets in this price range. Its vibrant and even it's not the brightest and it gets the job done out so no problem in the display. The front has the notification LED placed just below the bottom chin of the display

    Things to consider

Apart from that I like the perfectly pressed tactile power button. Phone is loaded with all types of ports, it has everything including headphone jack, Infrared Sensor and surprisingly a USB C port which is rarely seen in the budget devices. There is also fingerprint scanner which is placed perfectly.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro packs in everything in a premium design for a budget phone that is almost close to a perfect device. It has a unique p2i water repellent coating which makes it almost splash proof.

Good quality camera which will stand on your expectations

Moving on to next section which is  of course the camera which is a true 48 megapixel camera sensor here we are talking about the Sony IMX sensor which featured in higher end phones like Mi 9 and Honor v20.
Camera performance is very impressive with bright, detailed images which have a great dynamic range.
The Portrait mode is decent too but most of the times I found that its edge detection is finicky, so it's not the best out there when it comes to clicking portrait shots.

Camera performance is good in low light conditions too. Camera also features a very nice Pro mode which lets you to click high quality raw images. Redmi Note 7 Pro can shoot videos up to 4K resolution on 30fps. Phone doesn't have any OiS so videos are little shaky. Note 7 Pro features a 13 megapixel front camera here and it's very decent. Overall Note 7 pro has some very capable cameras which makes it one of the best budget camera phone in its price segment.

    Top notch performance

Another highlight of this phone is its performance. Phone packs the new Snapdragon 675 processor which makes the day to day usage very smooth. Phone can handle heavy duty games like PUBG mobile, Asphalt 9 and Modern Combat without any lag.It comes with Android Oreo.
Redmi Note 7 pro has the usual 4000 mAH battery, no I am saying is usual because of the Redmi Note standards 4000 MH is still pretty good. Phone battery last well over a day with medium usage.Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 10 watt charger which is not a fast charger but the phone supports Qualcomm quick charge 3. It's get completely charge in just 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Should you consider it as a buying option

So it's time to conclude should you buy Redmi Note 7 Pro with price starting from 14,000 bucks, well yes this is the budget for which change the budget smartphone 3 game changer.
Redmi Note 7 Pro offers so much for its price has a premium design and features everything. It has the performance which can match to some of the higher end phones. Device is loaded with cameras which are just good in this price range and a solid battery life.Redmi Note 7 Pro would bring Xiaomi back to the lead in Indian smartphone market.
